LSAT prep in Australia can be stressful. Access to LSAT prep services can be sparse, distances can be wide, and LSAT administrators may be unfamiliar with the exam. When you do prep for the LSAT in Oz, make sure you have the following basics down:
Take an LSAT prep course.
If you are Australian, you probably have had little exposure to the contents of the LSAT, an American exam. If you are an American student studying abroad, you are subject to the distractions of life in a new land. In either case, an LSAT prep course can provide a great deal of information, motivation, and focus so you can develop the skills to perform well on the exam. With few corporate LSAT courses available in Australia, consider taking on online LSAT course like LSAT freedom, since it provides a full length LSAT course at a low price accessible anytime and anywhere.
Check out your LSAT Test Center.
The LSAC administers the LSAT in eight Australian cities, including Adelaide (LTC testing), Brisbane (University of Queensland), Canberra (Australian Institute of Sport), Darwin (Charles Darwin University), Hobart (University of Tasmania), Melbourne (University of Melbourne), Perth (Curriculum Council), and Sydney (Macquarie University). Find out where the LSAT is administered in these locations by contacting them or the LSAC directly. Then, familiarize yourself with the location. If you can, take a practice exam there as studies have shown that this lowers anxiety levels and leads to better performance. Familiarize yourself with timing and break requirements, so you can make sure you are being given a fair experience by your proctors.
LSAT Australia prep can be daunting. Using the steps above, you will better equip yourself for success.
